What The Manufacturer Stated:
"Thank you for contacting Pepto-Bismol. You've asked a great question regarding whether our products contain gluten, and I'm happy to help answer this today.
We can confirm that our products do not contain wheat or gluten. The sodium starch glycolate in the product is produced from potato starch and would therefore not be a source of gluten. However, we can’t confirm that the facility where the product is made is gluten-free. So, we’re certain we don’t add gluten to the product, but we can’t be certain that it’s not present in the facility.
We recommend you consult with your healthcare provider if you have concerns about taking Pepto-Bismol.”
