“In response to your inquiry, while we may offer some Mucinex® products that do not contain gluten or gluten-derived ingredients we do not certify any Mucinex® product to be gluten-free.
We offer a wide range of Mucinex® products and want to ensure that we provide our consumers with the most accurate information. In order to accomplish this we would ask any consumer to contact us directly.
Generally, we are unable to guarantee that other products manufactured in the factory do not contain a source of gluten. However, all manufacturing equipment is thoroughly washed and cleaned down in line with Good Manufacturing Practices. We do not specifically test for the presence of gluten and therefore do not certify our products to be ‘gluten-free.”
A Gluten Free Mucinex DM Alternative:
Try Genexa Daytime Cough + Nighttime Severe Cold & Flu Combo Pack. They are certified gluten free by GFCO. You should be able to find them at Walmart, but you can check their site to identify retailers as well. Always verify on the current product box or bottle as formulas can change.
