We contacted Imodium’s manufacturer (Kenvue) about all of their Imodium products. They told us that while gluten or gluten containing grains are not ingredients in their products, they cannot verify gluten free status as they do not currently test the final products for gluten.

What The Manufacturer Stated:
“While gluten is not a labeled ingredient in our products, we do not test our final products for the presence of allergens. We do utilize Good Manufacturing Practices throughout the production of our products, but we do not guarantee that the ingredients in the product are free of gluten. We strongly recommend that you first consult your doctor before using any product if you believe that you are at risk for an allergic reaction or have known allergies.”
A Gluten Free Loperamide Alternative:
Try Foster & Thrive Loperamide Anti-Diarrheal. It is labeled gluten free. Always verify on the current product box or bottle as formulas can change.
