What The Manufacturer Stated:

DayQuil products:
• DayQuil Severe (US) / DayQuil Complete (CA) – Liquid, Caplet*
• DayQuil Cold & Flu – Liquicap
• DayQuil Cough
NyQuil products:

Caplet*
• NyQuil Cold & Flu – Liquicaps
• NyQuil HBP Cold & Flu Liquid NOTE -Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil Multi-symptom HBP products have not been tested for the presence of gluten, so they cannot be confirmed as gluten-free.
• Children’s NyQuil - Liquid
• Alcohol-Free NyQuil - Liquid
* We do not use gluten sources in any of the products made on the line to manufacture these products. In addition, we clean the manufacturing lines to meet FDA standards for drug products to minimize the risk of cross-contamination from other products made on the line.
NOTE: We have not tested other Vicks products for the presence of gluten. As a result, Vicks products other than those listed above cannot be confirmed as gluten-free.”
AllerGuard Statement:
The manufacturer has stated that the products listed above have been tested and found to contain less than 20 parts per million (ppm) of gluten, which meets the FDA’s threshold for gluten free foods. However, we have not found any evidence that these products are officially labeled or certified as gluten free, and the Vicks website when filtered for “gluten-free” products only lists the Flu Therapy SEVERE Cold & Flu Hot Drink formula.
Because of this, users should interpret this information as they see fit. If you prefer to use only products that are clearly labeled or certified gluten free, consider the alternative option listed below.
A Certified Gluten Free DayQuil/NyQuil Alternative:
